Default How sticky are they on dates?

When we go in for our session, are they going to give us a hard time if we don't have a date nailed down? We're looking at first quarter of 2016 but as far as dates we're still trying to figure out if we're going to go out of our way to accommodate my sisters teacher schedule or not. Would much prefer not to, to make flights and accommodations cheaper for our other guests, but don't want to start WW3 in my household. Ugh.

We chose the venue and then the date. We gave three possible dates and were denied. We gave three additional dates and were approved for one of those. We chose the date that worked for us and got us the venue we wanted. We are losing some guests because of school schedules (teachers and kids).

We pretty much did the same thing as kam. We had our hearts set on certain venue locations and gave about a 2 week window of dates that we would like and they gave us the open date that matched what we wanted.

I totally hear you on the whole WW3 deal. I'm having to wait on my sister to give me a decision, which is frustrating because it's going to depend on venue-- Sunrise Terrace (only 8 guests) vs. Canada or the Gazebo. And based on the venue is going to depend on my resort because I have like 3 different ones & want to stay at one that is close to where the wedding will be.

Frustrating because I can go to 6 guests (without sis family) or to 11 guests with her.

We have a lot of kids and teachers in our family so that is why we chose MLK week...the kids will have a 4 day weekend so won't have to miss as much school but we still get to enjoy lower crowd levels!
