Default What can you bring from outside Disney?

Can you bring some of your own things? Like a cake topper, unity candle..etc?

Things like cake toppers, unity candles, personal floral can definitely be not Disney. Certain venues have their own rules about what has to be provided thru disney especially the venues inside parks. Resort locations you have a little more leeway on what you can provide on your own!

Yeah we are getting a cake topper from Etsy. They have all different kinds.. some of them for less than $50. I just haven't decided to go with a monogram one or the one that have Batman on it. Ryan is kinda obsessed with Batman lol.

Tianabell15 That's cute! My fiancé is obsessed with Spiderman... I think if we could find a topper that had Rapunzel and Spiderman on it... that would be the winner. As it is, I think we're using our Tangled Rapunzel and Flynn Rider wedding Christmas ornament that came out a few years ago. It saves us money and is pretty much the perfect topper, aside from Spiderman, that is. =)

How fun! Yeah custom cake toppers are pretty expensive. But it would be super cute if you could find one. If you haven't checked out etsy I would. They have all kinds of things on there. Its my second obsession other than Pinterest! LOL!

I'm so glad I saw this! When my husband saw the $200 chocolate castle topper (that HE chose), he uttered a few expletives, LOL! I found a perfect topper, but wasn't sure if we could bring our own things!

I was always thinking about setting up my own make shift photo booth area. Is that possible?

If you mean bringing your own props, etc. I think you could as long as it fits in your bins. There was also a photobooth-esque service my planner recommended with a touchscreen computer that shows the pictures. I forget what it was called...

Awesome thread! What about chair covers? Will the planner set those up?

Great thread. Glad to know I can bring some of my own things to cut back on the cost.

I don't think you can bring chair covers unless you are in one of the banquet halls. A lot of the reception spaces have restrictions where you have to use disney for everything.

I think unity candles are only allowed in the wedding pavilion. I feel like there's a rule about candles at the outside venues. Something worth checking.

This was really useful because I really want to do my own bouquet. Glad other people asked!

My bouquet handle is from etsy so its good to read that some people have brought outside items. I was thinking of doing outside photography but haven't really researched that yet. Lots to do!
